The first glass mirror was found in Egypt in the 1st century BC.
The first mirrors known in history were instead made of bronze or copper, small plates of these metals artfully polished until they reflected an image, but given the difficulty in finding and working the materials, they were common objects only among the upper social classes.
Around the 600th century the concept of the Venetian mirrors in Murano glass as decorative elements,

In fact, there are at least four craftsmen involved: the carpenter for the wooden structure, the mirror maker who creates the mirror by pouring silver onto a glass plate, the engraver who makes the cut and the decorations with a diamond tip and the Murano glass master who adds his creations and gives depth to the work.
