Cesare Toso was born on the island of Murano, and began learning the trade of glass blowing master as a child.
At the age of 18 he began working in the famous Cappellin Glassworks and a few years later became a master. Gaining experience, Cesare Toso arrived at the Morassi e C. Glassworks, remaining there until 1946. In that year he founded the Toso Cesare Glassworks, where he raised his son Edilio, passing on to him all the knowledge and secrets of the trade.
The Venetian 700th century inspires the productions of Cesare Toso: elegant and classic chandeliers and wall lamps.
The technical experience acquired over the years allows the architects and designers of Cesare Toso to dedicate themselves with passion to designing entirely in blown Murano glass.
Cesare Toso srl closes in 2017.
